The Edinburgh Virtual Errands Task (EVET) |
In
the EVET participants are placed within a virtual building
and given a list of tasks to complete in a limited time. After learning
the task list they are required to formulate a plan as to how they
intend to complete the task list within the time limit.

Previous
work used a methodology with limited functionality (Law et al., 2006; McGeorge
et al., 2001). The EVET will allow: •Automated data extraction and output. •Detailed monitoring of participants’ movements. XYZ co-ordinates will be recorded at 10HZ. •Task completion times. •Number of times room entered and duration as a ‘heat map’ as well as numerically. |
