Research Associate Brain imaging (mainly EEG, minor fMRI), event semantics, thematic focus and prominence, syntax-semantics mapping, representational redundancy/vagueness/ambiguity, HCI, visual and spatial semantics, EEG correlates of attention and thought. y Research Fellow Anterograde amnesia. Attention, eye movements, and oculomotor control. Special interest in the cognition of visual media, specifically film and new media. y Research Fellow My research interests are focused on attention and memory, with particular emphasis on prospective memory (inc the role of the cholinergic system in prospective memory), and multitasking. I am especially interested in the potential of virtual environments to provide a realistic experimental tool with which to explore these important areas of every day cognition. y |
