Doctoral Programme in the Psychology of Individual Differences
Edinburgh hosts the substantial group of academics devoted to the psychology of Individual Differences. Research centres on studies of Cognitive abilities and Personality with key projects in Cognitive Epidemiology, Cognitive Ageing, Language and Dyslexia, Evolutionary Psychology, Emotional Intelligence, and Health and Positive Psychology.
In general, Doctoral students would take a one-year MSc followed by 3 years of Doctoral Study.
Students wishing to pursue Doctoral Research in this area typically take the MSc in Individual Differences in the first year.
