Online Resources
Shibboleth
- Most library online resources are authenticated by ezproxy and Shibboleth. University staff and students will usually be able to login using their EASE username and password via the Library catalogue or Library Online.
EASE
- Any student or member of staff at the University of Edinburgh is eligible for an EASE username and password. EASE registration is possible both on and off-campus. EASE help provides detailed instructions for assistance with registration.
Computing Support Team
Resources Room: Computing, printing and photocopying
- Situated in G5, the Resources Room holds the photocopier and 3 computers for use by readers. They may be used for all web-based activities including abstracting services, full-text journals, MyEd etc. Your personal student username and password, as used elsewhere on University computers, will be required for this.
- There is a printing facility from all the computers in this room. Payment will be taken from your printing account.
- Wireless Access is available in the Library.
- You may pay into your print account online or at various locations including the Main Library and Hugh Robson building. Paying for printing.
- Staff and students are requested to observe Copyright Licensing Agency rules when photocopying items for personal study. These are displayed by the Photocopier.
- Photocopying. The Photocopier is located in the Library Resources Room (G5). Payment for copying is from your printing account (P-Counter) using your matriculation card.
- Cost 5p per A4 sheet, 8p per double-sided A4 sheet.
