General Computing Information

Desktop Computer Support

When submitting support requests please include the machine name and room number (the machine name is generally on a card or sticker attached to the machine).

The computing support policy document has more detail about which team to contact.

Equipment Wishlist

The equipment wishlist is a web form for members of Psychology teaching, research and support staff to list equipment (equipment in general, not just computing equipment) and other resource needs.

Its purpose is to encourage staff to consider resources over a longer (three or five-year) time scale, in response to a request from School for forward-planning.

Everyone’s wishes are visible to everyone else.

The list will be used both over the short term and the longer term. Over the short term the list will be prioritised by the resources committee to disburse the year's SHEFC allocation. Over the longer term commonalities will emerge and may lead to resource sharing and other economies of scale.

To view the list and add wishes you willll need the username/password; please contact Cedric Macmartin for the username and password.
