Ian is currently investigating the electrophysiology of normal and remote staring detection, where he is examining the brain activity associated with "...the purported ability to detect when one is being watched or stared at by someone situated beyond the range of the conventional senses." (Braud, Shafer & Andrews, 1993: p.391)
Here are some of the things that Ian gets up to:
- Research
- Teaching
- Publications & Affiliations
- Funding & Awards
- Journal Activities and The European Journal of Parapsychology
- The "Headbang" Project
- He also helped to set up the Edinburgh EEG Group. Please e-mail him if you are a researcher who is interested in joining.
If you have a couple of minutes free, please complete his short questionnaire examining beliefs and experiences concerning remote staring detection. There are only 10 questions, so it won't take long. Go on, please?
